"Sometimes I have to be a leader, sometimes I have to be an educator, sometimes I have to sit back and learn in order to be well-versed in the latest regulations for a brand-new product type. It's never boring."

"At 18 I lost my father to Lou Gehrig's disease. I lost a niece in her 30s to lung cancer. Now, I feel like I can be one little piece in the effort to help folks not have to say goodbye to their loved ones the way I had to."

E-Verify is an Internet-based system that allows an employer, using information reported on an employee’s Form I-9, to determine the eligibility of that employee to work in the United States.

The E-Verify system is operated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in partnership with the Social Security Administration.

Regulations that took effect on September 8, 2009, require employers with federal contracts or subcontracts that contain the Federal Acquisition Register (FAR) E-Verify clause to use the E-Verify system.
