Lorna Butcher has been a Medical Safety Writer since 2014, specializing in authoring aggregate safety reports, including Development Safety Update Reports (DSURs). Lorna performs literature searches for DSURs, produces periodic line listing reports, and oversees the submission activities required for all aggregate reports. She is an experienced writer of PV SOPs and Safety Management Plans. Prior to joining Premier Research, Lorna worked for a large pharmaceutical company for 10 years, where she authored Periodic Benefit-Risk Evaluation Reports (PBRERs) and managed all safety aspects of clinical trials spanning a variety of therapeutic areas. Lorna holds a bachelor’s degree in medical science from The University of Birmingham, UK.
